Censored version

The movie is available online via other carriers and there the dreaded phallus is allowed into the light. The version available via Amazon has been censored, an odd thing to do to an erotic movie. The original is sensitive, sometimes silly, sometimes hot indeed. I hate being treated like a child by a major corporation, don't you?

Highly edited! Good Movie, but not Amazon version

Heavily censored

I saw this movie in France. This version is heavily censored! I don't understand why this is the case. I thought that IFC has a policy of releasing or showing movies as they were intended. We certainly have problems in the US with nudity and sex in the movies. However, it is ok to have violence and other bloody stuff. As a recall, the sex in this movie was artistically done and important part of the story. I checked Netflix and they show the same version of this DVD. I can understand that because they have control of every they show. In this case, we are buying a DVD for our private collection. It should be the original version. We destroyed the DVD in frustration. The one-star is for the highly edited version of this DVD and not the movie itself. Stay away from it...
